This is a reference AI platform for teams that need database reports without waiting for a developer to write every SQL query. Users ask questions in plain language, the system builds a SQL query using database context, runs approved requests and returns tables or charts.

The original use case is port and rail logistics analytics, but the same architecture can be adapted for warehouses, terminals, transportation companies and internal BI teams.

Engineering Notes

The safest implementation does not blindly execute arbitrary AI output. It should include schema context, query validation, read-only access, permission checks, logging, execution limits and a review flow for risky queries.

For critical operations, generated SQL should be tested against predefined examples and monitored through feedback scores.
