Tilda or Wix 2026: which website builder is better for Russian businesses

Wix is a Western website builder with a beautiful editor, but in 2026 it has become a headache for Russian businesses: payment only via foreign bank cards, interface and support in English only, and migrating your site away from Wix is nearly impossible — vendor lock-in is strict. Tilda is a Russian tool, but expensive and also lacks full export. We compare both options honestly — and show a third path.

We benchmarked the tilda-ili-wix topic against similar pages in the catalog and kept the wording focused on implementation details instead of repeating vendor marketing claims.

Key Facts

• Wix starts at $17/month — payment via foreign bank card only, unavailable to most Russian users
• Wix is entirely in English: support, documentation, templates — no Russian-language interface
• Migrating from Wix is impossible: no HTML export, code is closed, content is locked inside the platform
• Tilda — 25 USDT/month, Russian support available, but export is partial and flexibility is limited
• onout.org — 50 USDT/month: ready website in 1 day, source code yours, no lock-in

How to Choose a Website Builder in 3 Steps

If you run a Russian business:

Step 1. Check the payment method

Wix only accepts Visa/Mastercard from a foreign bank. Without such a card — Wix is unavailable. Tilda and onout.org accept Russian bank cards and business invoicing.

Step 2. Decide if you need the source code

Wix and Tilda are closed-platform tools. Stop paying — the site disappears. onout.org hands over the source code: deploy on any hosting, customize without restrictions.

Step 3. Order a ready-made site instead of building it yourself

Send your presentation or brand book to onout.org — an AI agent builds a professional responsive website in 1 business day. No drag-and-drop builders, no self-design, no lock-in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I create a Wix site with a Russian bank card?

No. In 2026, Wix does not accept Russian bank cards. The only option is a foreign card or a virtual card from an overseas bank, which is not accessible to everyone.

Which is better for a landing page — Tilda or Wix?

For Russian businesses, Tilda is clearly more convenient: ruble payments, Russian support, an intuitive editor. But for a professional result without doing the design yourself, ordering a turnkey site is faster.

Can I migrate my site away from Wix?

No. Wix does not provide HTML export or source code. The site permanently stays inside the platform — this is a deliberate vendor lock-in policy.

Wix for Russian businesses in 2026 is practically unavailable due to payment issues. Tilda works but is limited. onout.org is the third path: a professional branded website in 1 business day, source code included, no platform lock-in.
