How SimpleReview works

1

Install the extension — or open the Telegram bot

Add SimpleReview to Chrome in one click for the in-page picker. Prefer chat? Open the Telegram bot and describe the change — same fix flow, no install. Both work on any code-accessible site: staging, production, localhost, WordPress, and legacy apps.

2

Select the issue on your site

Hover any button, layout block, text, or image. SimpleReview captures the selected element, DOM context, and file path automatically.

3

Send to your coding agent

The extension captures the element and DOM context, then hands it to your Claude Code or Codex — for free — to generate a fix or patch. Or use built-in AI with no setup.

4

Get a code fix, not just feedback

You get a code fix from your coding agent — not a screenshot, not a ticket. Upload it through Git, SFTP/SSH, or apply it directly to wp-content for WordPress sites.

Who uses SimpleReview

QA testers

Walk the build, mark every visual bug or broken state you find, and hand each one to the coding agent as a code fix — no ticket spreadsheets.

Product teams without dev time

Engineering is booked on the roadmap. Small copy tweaks, layout fixes and legacy-site issues can go straight to the coding agent instead of the backlog.

Solo builders

You shipped something fast with Cursor or Bolt. Something is misaligned on mobile, Safari breaks a form — point at it, describe it, get a patch.

Non-technical makers

You see exactly what’s wrong but don’t want to open the editor. Click the element, describe it in plain English, and your coding agent writes the fix.

FAQ

How is SimpleReview different from Marker.io or other feedback tools?
Most feedback tools stop at screenshots and bug reports. SimpleReview captures the issue and turns it into a real code fix you can upload to the site.
Do I need my own AI agent?
Use your own Claude Code or Codex for free. A built-in AI mode is also available with no setup.
What does the Fix It button do?
It captures the selected element, DOM context, and your comment, then hands the package to your coding agent to generate a fix or patch.
What kinds of sites does it work on?
SimpleReview works on any code-accessible site — React, Vue, Next.js, WordPress, plain HTML/CSS, legacy codebases. As long as you can connect via Git, FTP, or SSH, it will work.
What do I get back?
A code fix, not just a screenshot — a site-ready patch produced by your chosen coding agent. You stay in control: upload, review, or discard.
How much does it cost?
The Chrome extension is free. Use your own Claude Code or Codex for free, or try the optional built-in AI mode.
Chrome extension vs Telegram bot — what’s the difference?
Same fix flow, two ways in. The Chrome extension lets you click an element on the page directly — faster when you’re already in the browser. The Telegram bot accepts a plain-language message and pushes the fix to the same site — handy from a phone or when you don’t want to install anything. Both connect to your repo or server (Git / FTP / SSH).
How does the Telegram bot get to my site?
On first run you give the bot SSH or Git access to your site and a one-line description of the project. The bot keeps the credentials in a dedicated container per project and uses them only to commit or upload the fix you approve. You can revoke access or delete the container at any time with /deletecontainer.
